Topics: Color correction – Retouching – Concept of layers – Image compositing – Effective use of Text – Automation – Filters – Making your pictures print-ready – Photobook creation basics & more.
Classes will be a mix of theory and practicals.

System Requirements:
A laptop / PC (with Intel Core i5/i7 – 6th Generation or better processor, 4GB or more RAM, a dedicated graphics card with 2GB or more graphics memory, a display resolution of 1440×900 or higher) and a good optical /laser Mouse, mousepad if required.

   Color correction techniques – Understanding color correction in Adobe Camera Raw, Lightroom Develop module – Presets – Color Profiles – Color Correction Workflow
3. Photoshop Tools
   Photoshop Tools – Selection and Cutting out parts of images using different kind of selection tools
4. Brush Tools
   Adjustment brushes, Painting, Retouching tools – Clone, Healing brush/Patch, /,Dodge/Burn, Sharpen/Blur, Retouching worn-out old image, blemishes, unwanted wires, hair etc.
5. Concept of Layers
   Adjustment layer – Layer Masking techniques, Cutting out hair or fuzzy clothing, Background replacement techniques, Image corrections etc.
6. Special effects
   Learn to create Special Effects using Filters , Noise, Lens correction, Skin Softening, Image sharpening
7. Customizations and Automation:
   Customize, Actions, Automate, bulk processing, watermarking, prepare file for print, tile, resize etc
8. Photobook Layout design
   Layout design concepts, Typography, Processing for prints etc.

DEMO SESSIONS

Demo sessions with the faculty are to ensure the concepts are grasped in the right way. The faculty will demonstrate the right way to approach the image editing concept. There are plenty of examples to help learners understand the purpose of each technique. The faculty encourages the students to try out the various techniques during the sessions. This helps the participants to perfect their techniques and skills.

PRACTICE SESSIONS GUIDED BY THE MENTOR

Mentor guided practical classes have always been a specialty of Ambitions 4 Photography Academy. These practical classes with suitable sample images to practice help the participants to apply their knowledge effectively. The participants are monitored by the mentor who gives them many suggestions to improve their approach towards image processing.

Interactive classes help the participants develop a better understanding of the concepts. The participants are provided with practice exercise images suitable for learning various techniques. Images from the participants that they find as a challenge are also processed in front of the entire class to help all the participants understand the right approach towards processing challenging images.

What will you get on the completion of the course?

Completion of the course includes the submission of a project as a soft copy. ‘Certificate with grades is awarded to the learner at the end of the course.
