Digital Photography seminar for professional photographers in Coimbatore
A seminar on digital photography techniques and new concepts in wedding photography was conducted by Mr.KL.Raja Ponsing on 27th November 2008. The workshop was organized by a Tamil Manila Olipadakalaigargal Sangam, Coimbatore and sponsored by Canon India. More than 180 professional photographers from Coimbatore, Tirupur, Pollachi, Kothagiri and around participated in the seminar with full energy and enthusiasm.
he entire seminar was very interactive and the participants were happy to clear all kinds of photography doubts related to digital cameras and digital technology. The whole session was very informative and enjoyable too. Mr.KL.Raja distributed the participation certificate for all the photographers.
The organizers are planning to do many such workshops under the guidance of Mr.KL.Raja in other parts of Tamil Nadu in the near future.
Workshop for professional photographers at Chikaldara (Nagpur):
A first of its kind workshop and training in portraiture, new concepts in wedding photography and fashion photography was conducted by Mr.KL.Raja Ponsing for three days from 22nd – 24th October 2008. The workshop was organized by a group of eleven photographers ‘Mark IX’ from the neighbouring cities and co-ordinated by Mr.Ragavendra Katti. More than 40 professional photographers from Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Jargand participated.
The first two days, the participants enjoyed the intricacies of studio lighting and concepts of portraiture. A live demo with young models was preformed by Mr.KL.Raja. Fashion shoot on the last day at the outdoors of naturally scenic locations of Chikaldara, a hill station was informative and enjoyable too.
The entire workshop was highly interactive and there were lot of information shared on the topics discussed. The organizers and co-ordinator are planning to do many workshops under the guidance of Mr.KL.Raja.
Photography book in Tamil
KL.Raja Ponsing, a professional photographer, mentor, founder and director of Ambitions 4 Photography Academy, a Canon Pro-Center, Chennai had come out with a 272 pages Digital Photography book in Tamil, titled as, “Digital Olipadathuraill Vetriperuvathu Eppadi ?” (‘How to become a successful professional photographer?’).
