Photography Contest – Bonded Labour & Debt Bondage: Modern forms of Slavery

The Social Work Forum of MSW (Aided) department, Madras School of Social Work, is conducting a seminar and an intercollegiate competition on communication tools such as street play, short film, poster, and photography, on the theme Bonded Labour & Debt Bondage: Modern forms of Slavery. The objective of this event is to create awareness among the social work student community on the issue of debt bondage and to stimulate them to use their talents to produce communication tools for the issue.

A photography contest will be conducted. Participants can send photographs that they have taken on the theme. Best entries will win prizes. All the photographs will be exhibited during the seminar, with due acknowledgement.

Regulations:

• A maximum of two photographs may be submitted by each participant.

• The submission must be original work shot by the participant.

• Photographs of any resolution may be submitted.

• Photographs must be submitted in .jpg format.

• Basic modification to correct contrast and brightness are permitted.

The last date to submit your photographs are on March 1rd 2015.
