Ambitions 4 Photography Academy organized a two day Photojournalism and Documentary Photography Workshop by the National Geographic Channel award winning documentary photographer

trMr. Sudharak Olwe on the 25th and 26th of February 2012.

The first day of the workshop was an interactive session which included a discussion on Photojournalism and Documentary photography. The importance of a photographer being a good human being and possessing qualities like patience, compassion for other beings, discipline and good work ethics were stressed upon. The participants were made to realize the importance of paying attention to the finer details in life which is otherwise ignored or taken for granted. The interactive session included group discussion followed by review of the photojournalistic pictures shot by students of Ambitions 4 Photography Academy and other participants.

The second day had two sessions .The morning session was a mentor guided field trip to Koyembedu whole sale market and a photo walk on Lloyd’s Road. The afternoon session involved the reviews of the photographs taken by the participants during the field trips. Mr.Sudharak presented his works in the area of documentary photography as well as the works of other renowned documentary photographers from around the globe.tr
